General

This promotion is as specified in the Promotion Information Details (“Promotion”) and is strictly made available to Eligible Customers who meet the Promotion Qualifications during the Promotion Period and is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).Customers’ attention is drawn to the Promotion Information Details:-

  1. This Promotion is only applicable during the Promotion Period beginning on the start date and shall continue in effect until its expiry or sooner cancelled by Time. Time reserves the right to cease and/or cancel the Promotion at any time before the expiry of the Promotion Period without any prior notice.
  2. This Promotion is not to be construed in any way howsoever as a contract of sale, exchange, lease, hire-purchase, or hire between Time and the customer.
  3. Promotion is only available to Eligible Customers and is subject to Eligible Customers meeting the Promotion Qualifications. Any customer who does not meet the Promotion Qualifications and is not an Eligible Customer is not entitled to the provision of the Promotion.
  4. Time may change, modify, amend or cancel the Promotion at any time during the Promotion Period, including changing, modifying or amending the Value and/or type of free gift that is offered, the Value and/or type of voucher offered (including the provider of the voucher) or Value of the cash rebate offered (as may be applicable depending on the type of Promotion). Nothing herein stated shall imply that an Eligible Customer is to receive any other benefit beyond that stated in the Promotion Information Details nor that Time is obliged to provide the equivalent Value if Time changes, amends or modifies the Promotion.
  5. If there are multiple promotions available during the same Promotion Period, including this Promotion, and the customer is an Eligible Customer to more than one promotion, the customer must choose only one promotion. A customer cannot make multiple choices of the promotions, nor do anything to secure or gain the benefits offered in multiple promotions. Once the customer has chosen the promotion, the customer is no longer eligible for any other promotions that are available at the same time.
  6. TIME reserves the right to and may refuse to provide the Promotion to the Eligible Customer regardless of whether the customer is an Eligible Customer and meets the Promotion Qualifications.
  7. The voucher is not stackable with other promotions by Shopee and is only stackable with Shop Vouchers (if applicable). Shop Voucher shall mean vouchers offered by individual shops within the Shopee platform.
  8. If the Promotion is the provision of a Monthly Rebate or One-off Rebate (as set out in the Promotion Information Details) to the customer, then if the customer terminates the service agreement with Timebefore the expiry of the minimum period or if there is no minimum period specified, then twelve months from service activation date, then Eligible Customer shall not be entitled to receive any cash rebate for the unexpired period and TIME may seek to recover all earlier provided rebates on the basis that customer warrants to stay a customer of Time for the minimum period or twelve months (as the case may be).
  9. In addition, no advice or information obtained (whether orally or written) by the customer from Time, or its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors shall create any warranty or right to sue.
  10. Time reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions during the Promotion Period and such revision, amendment, and/or modification shall be made available at www.time.com.my and is binding on all Eligible Customers. Continued access and use of the service shall deem to be your acceptance to the changes and updates to these Terms and Conditions.
  11. If the Promotion Qualifications includes the signing up of a new service, then in such a case, all other terms and conditions governing the use of the new service shall apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
  12. All personal information provided by customer is subject to Time’s Privacy Policy (details of which are available at http://www.time.com.my/privacy-policy).
  13. Capitalised words have the meaning as specified in the Promotion Information Details. If in the Promotion Information Details there are Special Promotion Terms drawn up, then such Special Promotion Terms shall prevail over these Terms and Conditions in the event of conflict, inconsistency or ambiguity.

SALES PROMOTION FOR SPECIFIED DURATION

This promotion (“Promotion”) (details of which are set out below) is available only to Eligible Customers who meet the Promotion Qualifications during the Promotion Period only and is subject to the terms and conditions as contained herein. Acceptance of the promotion gift, vouchers or rebates by Eligible Customers is deemed to be acceptance of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

Promotion Description

How to Participate?

  1. Spend a minimum of RM500 in up to 3 receipts within the same day in any shop in IPC Damansara or IKEA between 19th – 22nd October 2023.
  2. Drop by at our Gig Speed Home popup @ IPC (Concourse) to submit your entry. You’ll be required to fill up a digital contest form and upload a picture of your receipts with your submission.

Additional contest entry terms:

  1. Accumulation of receipts across different days are not allowed.
  2. Multiple entries are allowed but receipts cannot be duplicated.

The winners will be selected from existing Time Fibre Home customers who have submitted their entries via our on-ground Gig Speed Home event at IPC (Concourse) that runs from 19th – 22nd of October 2023 as follows:

  1. Five (5) winners will be selected via lucky draw.
  2. Winners will be announced on Time Internet’s Facebook and Instagram accounts (Facebook: Time Internet, Instagram: timeinternet) within 14 days from the end of the contest submission date, followed by an official email with relevant redemption information.

Discount Promotion:
All selected winners get to enjoy FREE 1 Year 1Gbps Time Fibre Home subscription starting the following month after the prize has been awarded. For example, if the prize is awarded in November 2023, winners will enjoy the FREE Time Fibre Home for the next 12 months commencing from December 2023 to November 2024. Commencement date and end date will follow the subscriber’s existing billing cycle.

Device Promotion:
All selected winners get to enjoy FREE Gig Speed Home package which includes Fibre-To-The-Room devices and installation services at their registered home address. Installation has to take place by end of Jan 2024.

Gift Card Promotion:
All selected winners get to redeem IKEA gift cards and its value is subject to amount won. The value awarded is valid for 12 months.

Eligible Customers

Existing Time Fibre Home customers with an active subscription. Customers will need to provide a screen grab of their Time Self-Care Portal dashboard that includes the following information:

  • Speed/Bandwidth Subscription
  • Account Number
  • Service ID
  • Bill Number

Non-subscribers can participate but they will need to subscribe to Time Fibre Home 1Gbps plan and activate their service within 7 days from the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible.
Promotion Qualification All winners are required to settle all overdue payments by 31 January 2024 to enjoy the prizes.

Winners are required to upgrade their existing subscription to 1Gbps in order to redeem the FREE Gig Speed Home package.
How will it be provided? The FREE 1 Year Time Fibre Home subscription will be deducted from the customer’s monthly bill for the next 12 months whereby the commencement date & end date will follow the subscriber’s existing billing cycle.

The FREE Gig Speed Home package comes with Fibre-To-The-Room devices that will be installed at customer’s registered home address.
Special Promotion Terms FREE 1 Year 1Gbps Time Fibre Home Subscription

  1. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
  2. Winners are still subject to prorated charges (if any) and other charges such as voice calls, add-ons, etc. The monthly broadband subscription discount is only applicable to the Time Fibre Home subscription.
  3. The FREE 1 Year 1Gbps Time Fibre Home will supersede other existing discounts or promotions that are tied to the winner’s broadband subscription monthly fee that the winners may be enjoying. In the event that the winners are currently enjoying monthly discounts tied to their 24-month contract period, the FREE 1 Year 1Gbps Time Fibre Home will still supersede all of its monthly discounts but the contract period will still remain i.e. it will not be reset or nor will it be canceled.

  4. In the event that the winners choose to upgrade or downgrade their subscription plan after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the monthly discount will follow the value of the winner’s subscription plan at the point in which the prize is awarded to the winner;

    1. Plan upgrade – winners will need to pay the difference in price based on the upgrade. For example, if the winner upgrades from 1Gbps (RM199/month) to 2Gbps (RM379/month), he/she will need to pay the difference of RM180/month every month until the Promotion Period ends.
    2. Plan downgrade – The excess monthly discount amount will be used to offset future bills, which means the discount might run longer than 12 months. For example, if the winner downgrades from 1Gbps (RM199/month) to 500Mbps (RM139/month), there will be an excess of RM60 every month that makes up to a total of RM720 in excess amount after the period of 12 months. This amount will be used to offset future broadband subscription monthly fee only.
  5. 5. In the event that the winners choose to terminate their Time Fibre Home after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the total discount or discount for the remaining months will be forfeited. The discount cannot be used to offset any early termination fee tied to the subscription, or be refunded or transferred to another active account. The Time Fibre Home termination terms and conditions shall apply.
  6. In the event that the winners opt for transfer of ownership after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the total discount or discount for the remaining months will be transferred to the new owner.
  7. In the event that the winners choose to relocate to another service address after the prize has been awarded but before or during the term of the Discount Promotion, the total discount or discount for the remaining months will not be impacted.

FREE Gig Speed Home package

  1. Winners can only downgrade from their 1Gbps plan 6 months after the activation of the Gig Speed Home package
  2. Unclaimed prizes (Installation that does not take place by end of Jan 2024) shall be deemed forfeited
  3. Winners will also need to adhere to the Terms &Conditions listed under Gig Speed Home (FTTR) Add-Ons

7 If the Promotion is the provision of a gift or a voucher from Time, Time’s partners, suppliers or subcontractors, Time and its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors may provide such gift or voucher on an “as is” basis and without any warranty or condition, whether express or implied, by law or by contract, including warranties as to title, merchantability, fitness for purpose, satisfactory quality, performance, non-infringement of any third party’s intellectual property or proprietary rights or product liability. Should a physical good be obtained as a gift or upon redemption of a voucher, and the customer suffers any form of physical injury or damage, such injury or damage may be claimed against the manufacturer or distributor of the physical good and not against Time, which is deemed not to be a supplier.

Special Promotion Terms
  1. Not applicable to subscribers of the no contract plan.
  2. Each 200Mbps plan comes with a WiFi 6 router while every 600Mbps and 1Gbps plan includes a WiFi 6 router and a WiFi 6 mesh node. 2Gbps subscriptions come with a 2Gbps WiFi 6 router and 2 x unit WiFi 6 mesh nodes.
  3. If service installation has not taken place within 2 months of the subscription date, the application will be automatically withdrawn and the Promotion will no longer be available.
  4. A subscriber is still subject to prorated charges leading up to their first full month’s bill and other charges such as voice calls, add–ons etc.
  5. If a subscriber upgrades their plan, they will continue to enjoy their existing discounts (if any) until its full redemption and their contract will not be reset. But they will not enjoy any new promos attached to the upgraded plan.
  6. A subscriber is not allowed to downgrade their plan within their 24-month contract.
  7. If a subscriber terminates their subscription within their 24-month contract, they will be subject to early termination charges equivalent to the total monthly fees of their remaining contractual period or a fixed sum of RM500.00, whichever is higher (“Termination Charges”).

9 In addition, no advice or information obtained (whether orally or written) by the customer from Time, or its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors shall create any warranty or right to sue.
10 Time reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions during the Promotion Period and such revision, amendment, and/or modification shall be made available at www.time.com.my and is binding on all Eligible Customers. For subscribers of TIME Voice Home Lite, TIME Voice Home Max and TIME Voice Home 10 plan, they will enjoy the free 30 voice minutes on domestic calls during the Promotion Period once they have fully utilised the free minutes that come with their respective voice plans. Once all free minutes are utilised, respective voice plan charges apply.
  3. For TIME Voice Home Basic, Lite and Max plans, any domestic calls made will be charged at a rate of 10 cents/min to all fixed and mobile numbers nationwide.
  4. For TIME Voice Home 10 plan, any domestic calls made will be charged at a rate of 9 cents/min to all fixed and mobile numbers nationwide.

The subscriber will still be able to enjoy the promo if they upgrade their plan and the discount has not yet been deducted from their bill. However, the discount amount will follow the value of their initial plan e.g. RM139 discount for their initial 500Mbps plan even after they upgrade to 1Gbps.   3. A subscriber is subject to pro-rated charges leading up to their first full month’s bill and other charges such as voice calls, add–ons etc.

Hook Up & Earn – Customer Referral Programme

Programme Rules

1. You must be an existing Time customer with a valid subscription for Time Fibre Home (“Time Broadband”).

2. You may only submit referrals for Time Fibre Home services.

3. To qualify for the referral bonus of Ringgit Malaysian One Hundred (RM100) bill discount (“Referral Bonus”) for inviting a new Time customer (“Referee”):-

3.1. You must provide the link generated in the Time Self Care portal or the Time Internet app to the Referee.

3.2. The Referee must click the link, select the desired Time Broadband package and complete their registration online through the same link before the end of the Programme Duration using the prescribed registration form (as available through the aforementioned link) and their Time Broadband must be successfully activated (successful activation means successful installation and activation of Time Broadband).

3.3. The Referee’s Time Broadband service must be successfully activated before you are entitled to the Referral Bonus.

3.4. The Referee who registers for Time Broadband must be a new Time customer (and not a returning or existing Time customer). Time reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether the Referee is a new Time customer or otherwise.

3.5. You must not refer yourself. Time reserves the right to deny the Referral Bonus if the account holder of the Referrer and Referee is the same individual even though the service address is different.

4. The Referral Bonus will be granted in the form of RM100 bill discount, which will be reflected in your bill statement and this discount will only offset your monthly recurring service charges. There is also no limit as to how many referrals you can get in a month.

5. If you happen to be enjoying other ongoing promos at the same Time as your Referral Bonus, the other bill waivers or discounts will be utilised first. Any leftover balance will be brought forward to cover future bills with no expiration date.

6. If you cancel your subscription for Time Broadband prior to receipt of any entitled Referral Bonus, you are no longer eligible to receive such entitled Referral Bonus(es) under this Programme and the balance from the accumulated Referral Bonus after offsetting the final bill will be forfeited.

5. Personal Data

5.1. Participation in this Programme may require you to submit personal data about the Referees such as name and email address. You hereby warrant that you have obtained all necessary consent from the Referee(s) where you have provided their personal data for purposes of the Programme and you agree to allow Time to communicate with the Referees about your participation (for example, by disclosing to the Referees that an invitation was sent by you). All personal data collected will be subject to TIME’s Privacy Policy.

6. Rights of the Organiser

6.1. Time reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify you if you are found or suspected to be tampering with the Programme, Time Self Care portal and/or Programme submission process or the operation of this Programme. Time reserves the right to disqualify you from this Programme and/or to forfeit any Referral Bonus you may be entitled to if Time Believes, in its sole and absolute discretion, you have undertaken fraudulent or unfair practices and/or activities or other activities harmful to this Programme or the submission process. Fraudulent activities are deemed to include, but are not limited to any act of deceit and/or deception and/or cheating. 6.2. Time and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers and/ or subcontractors specifically disclaim the implied warranties of title, merchantability, performance, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality or non-infringement of any third party’s intellectual property or proprietary rights. In addition, no advice or information obtained (whether orally or written) by you from the Time shall create any warranty and you may not rely on any such statement of warranty.

8. Liability & Responsibility

8.1. You shall assume full liability and responsibility in the event of any liability, mishap, injury, loss, damage, claim or accident resulting from your participation in this Programme, redemption and/or usage of the Referral Bonus.

8.2. All costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred during the participation in this Programme and/or during the redemption of the Referral Bonus are your sole responsibility.

8.3. Time shall in no event nor for any reason whatsoever be liable, even if foreseeable or if Time or its agents or employees may have been advised of, or otherwise might have anticipated, the possibility or likelihood of such damages, losses or expenses, for any damages, loss or expense, including direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive damage, or economic loss, or any claims for loss of profits or loss of use, whatsoever or howsoever caused (regardless of the form of action, including tort or strict liability), arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with: (i) any access, use or the inability to access or use the Time Self Care Portal; (ii) any system, server or connection failure, error, omission, interruption, delay in transmission, computer virus or other malicious, destructive or corrupting code, agent, program or macros; (iii) any use of or access to any other website or webpage linked to the Time Self Care Portal; (iv) any services, products, or information, data, software or other material obtained or downloaded from the Time Self Care Portal, or from any other website or webpage linked to the Time Self Care Portal; (v) your use or misuse of the Time Self Care Portal or Referral Bonus; (vi) sales, customs and/or import or export taxes; (vii) any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary costs, claims, expenses, loss or damages, even if informed of the possibility of such costs, claims, expenses, loss and damage; (viii) lost revenues or profits; or (ix) loss, damages or expense arising from or in connection with any loss of data or interruption in use, or availability, of data.

9. Indemnification

9.1. You hereby agree to fully indemnify and hold Time and each of TIME’s representative offices, authorised agencies and sponsors, and the directors, officers, employees and assignees thereof (the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from and against any and all claims, loss or damage (including but not limited to economic loss, loss of or damage to any property or injury to or death of any person and any legal costs) that may be suffered or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties arising whether directly or indirectly from:

9.1.1. from any negligent act or omission or wilful default, misconduct or fraud of the committed by you;

9.1.2. from any action or claim whatsoever brought against the you in connection with any breach of the Terms; and

9.1.3. from any claim by a third party against any Indemnified Parties in respect of (i) and (ii) above.

10. Severability

The invalidity or unenforceability of any of the provisions in these Terms shall not adversely affect or impair the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms.

11.Additional Terms

11.1. These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the Laws of Malaysia and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.

11.2. All other terms and conditions governing the use of Time Broadband services shall apply herein mutatis mutandis.

11.3. In the event of your breach of these Terms, TIME’s failure to enforce these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of these Terms, and such failure shall not affect the right later to enforce these Terms. Time would still be entitled to use its rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms.

8 If the Promotion is the provision of a Monthly Rebate or One-off Rebate (as set out in the Promotion Information Details) to the customer, then if the customer terminates the service agreement with TIME before the expiry of the minimum period or if there is no minimum period specified, then twelve months from service activation date, then Eligible Customer shall not be entitled to receive any cash rebate for the unexpired period and TIME may seek to recover all earlier provided rebates on the basis that customer warrants to stay a customer of TIME for the minimum period or twelve months (as the case may be).
9 In addition, no advice or information obtained (whether orally or written) by the customer from TIME, or its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors shall create any warranty or right to sue.
10 TIME reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions during the Promotion Period and such revision, amendment, and/or modification shall be made available at www.time.com.my and is binding on all Eligible Customers. Continued access and use of the service shall deem to be your acceptance to the changes and updates to these Terms and Conditions.
11 If the Promotion Qualifications includes the signing up of a new service, then in such a case, all other terms and conditions governing the use of the new service shall apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

TIME Fibre Home Broadband Anniversary Upgrade Promo (Ongoing)

ANNIVERSARY UPGRADE PROMOTION FOR SPECIFIED DURATION

This promotion (details of which are set out below) is available only to Eligible Customers who meet the Promotion Qualifications during the Promotion Period only and is subject to the Promotion Terms and Conditions available at https://www.time.com.my/terms-and-conditions. Acceptance of the promotion gift, vouchers or rebates by Eligible Customers is deemed to be acceptance to the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

  3. Promotion is not valid for customers with overdue payment.
  4. Promotion is not valid for customers with complimentary TIME Fibre Home Broadband subscription.
  5. Promotion is not valid for customers who have requested termination of service during the Promotion Period.
How will the discount be provided

RM10 discount to be credited to Eligible Customer’s monthly bill for a period of 24 months upon successful upgrade to 500Mbps.
Special Promotion Terms
  1. This promotion let Eligible Customers enjoy an upgrade to TIME Fibre Home Broadband 500Mbps plan at a monthly fee of only RM129 for 24 months. After 24 months, the monthly fee for TIME Fibre Home Broadband 500Mbps plan will revert to RM139.
  2. The promotion is not applicable for customers who are already on TIME Fibre Home Broadband 500Mbps plan.
  3. Eligible Customers who have upgraded to 500Mbps plan and are currently enjoying RM10 bill discount may downgrade their plan to 100Mbps. However, if the downgrade is done within the Eligible Customer’s Initial Service Term of their original contract with TIME, the contract will be subject to a further renewal of 24 months. Once the downgrade is successful, the Eligible Customer will no longer enjoy this Promotion.
  4. This is a one-off promotion. Eligible Customers will not be able to enjoy the discounts if the upgrade to 500Mbps plan is done after the Promotion Period.
