- Afzal Abdul Rahim redesignated as Executive Vice Chairman
- Additional internal appointments made to strengthen senior leadership team
Shah Alam, 3 July 2025 – Time dotCom Berhad (Time) today announced the appointment of Loh Jenkim as new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 23 September 2025. Jenkim has over 25 years of experience across the telecommunications, energy and professional services sectors. She currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer of Time and is also a key member of the management executive committee, working closely with business leaders to develop business strategies, partnerships and investments as well as organisational initiatives. Since joining Time in 2013, Jenkim has led multiple key initiatives contributing to the company’s growth and regional expansion. Her leadership in evolving and driving the company forward has been instrumental to Time’s growth. Prior to Time, she held leadership roles at Maxis, Talisman Energy, and PwC.
In parallel, Afzal will be redesignated as Executive Vice Chairman of Time. Having served as Group CEO for 17 years, Afzal has led the company through a major turnaround exercise and firmly entrenched Time’s position as a regional fixed line telecommunications player. Afzal’s continued presence as Executive Vice Chairman and a substantial shareholder demonstrates his long-term commitment to Time. He will continue to play an important role in shaping Time’s future strategic direction.

The leadership transition at Time marks the evolution of Time into an infrastructure investment company with autonomous business units under its umbrella. The Group is pleased to announce the following appointments in this regard:
- Ang Thing Jiun (TJ) as CEO of the Infrastructure Unit
- Timur Umetayev as CEO of Retail
- Ganesh John Sivasamboo as CEO of Wholesale
- Azhar Adnan as CEO of Enterprise & Public Sector
Patrick Corso and Datuk Zainal Amanshah will continue as the Group’s Executive Directors. They will remain as key partners and advisors to the Group CEO and senior leadership team, providing strategic direction and oversight to new businesses and playing pivotal roles in advancing Time’s international expansion and leading one-off major projects. Both will report directly to Afzal in his new capacity as Executive Vice Chairman.
