With no other provider having access via the Tuas Second Link into Singapore, TIME is proud to offer protected services directly onto the island. The over-reliance on single leg infrastructure running across the Causeway leaves operators vulnerable to faults. As CPCS offers dual interconnection points into the Island, services can be provisioned on a ring basis across the system where necessary.
By extending the service to cable landing stations on the island, Carriers in Thailand who interconnect at both Bukit Kayu Hitam and Padang Besar can experience true 1+1 resiliency to submarine cables landing into Singapore. By definition, CPCS offers far higher availability than single leg cable systems serving the region.
