Mount Miriam is a non-for-profit hospital dedicated to the treatment and continuing care of patients with cancer. As a non profit organisation, the hospital has always relied on contributions from the public to run its facilities.
Responding to this need, TIME dotCom made a small donation for the purchase of a new Linear Accelerator Machine. The machine is estimated to cost RM5.5 million. The Linear Accelerator Machine is a fully computerised, radiotherapy treatment machine operating at a very high-voltage to produce X-rays to treat cancer.
