 1. What is TIME Broadband Voice?
TIME Broadband Voice is a voice communication that allows customers to make calls via broadband Internet connection.
 2. How does TIME Broadband Voice work?
TIME Broadband Voice converts voice signals from your standard analog phone to data, using a hi-tech device known as CPE. Calls are sent through your broadband connection over the Internet.
 3. What are the advantages of TIME Broadband Voice?
The biggest advantage is when you are making calls to other TIME Broadband Voice subscribers, your calls are FREE. Calls to normal fixed line, mobile or IDD are at discounted rates.
 
 4.Why are your rates cheaper than conventional fixed lines?
TIME Broadband Voice's calls are routed over the Internet, thus avoiding a significant portion of costs associated with the conventional telephone network.
 
 5. How is the voice quality?
The voice quality is dependant on the quality of your broadband connection.
 
 6. How can I sign up for TIME Broadband Voice?

You need to have a registered company in Malaysia. For more information, please contact our Customer Service Centre at 03-2730 5287.

 
 7. What are the requirements to use the service?
You need to have an active Broadband Connection with minimum speed of 128Kbps and one analog phone for each subscribed line. You may use your existing analog phone.
 
 8. Can I still make calls when the CPE is switched off?
Once the CPE is switched off, your service will be automatically switched back to your existing fixed line account. If your fixed line is connected to the CPE, you can still make calls.
 
 9. Can I use my computer while talking on the phone?
Yes you can. Your computer and your call will work as usual. In fact, you could still make calls even when the computer is not on.
 
 10. Can I still use the service when I travel to other countries?
Yes, but firstly you need to purchase a USB Phone from our selected partners. Once you are connected to the broadband Internet in other countries, you will be able to make calls just as though you are in your own office. Hence, you can avoid unnecessary roaming charges.
 
 11. Are there any changes to my dialing habits?
There is no significant change except for local calls where you need to dial the “area code” before the destination number. Example: Dial 03, followed by 2761XXX for numbers within Klang Valley.
 
12. How to set up the service?
Firstly, you need an existing broadband Internet connection. Following which you need to install the CPE on your existing analog phone.
 
 13. Who will help us with the installation?
TIME will arrange for trained technicians to perform the installation at your premise as soon as your service order is activated. The activation process will take between 2 to 3 days.
 
 14. How long does it take to complete an installation?
It depends on the level of complication that may be caused by your network or other physical setups. Generally, an installation for one single line can be done within 30 to 45 mins
