Cross Peninsular Cable System (CPCS)
CPCS is the most robust transborder terrestrial system ever built. There is no better network to carry critical traffic from Indochina to Singapore via Peninsula Malaysia. It provides both unprotected and protected offerings with a stunning 99.99% availability. CPCS features dual interconnection points into Singapore, offering true 1+1 resiliency. It also provides flexibility for carriers to segment their capacity from 155MBps to 40Gbps. The system consists of : Land fibre optic cables Our land-based fibre optics stretch over 3,600 km in Peninsular Malaysia, the main network extending along the 850 km North-South Expressway, subsequently connecting into smaller lines that criss-cross around the country. Submarine cable systems The submarine fibre optic cables, totalling 1,624 km, are laid along the coastline of the Peninsula from Pulau Langkawi, Kedah to Kota Bharu, Kelantan, connecting to 25 coastal sites.
Digital Microwave and Satellite The digital microwave and satellite links cover remote areas and those not yet serviceable by our fibre optic cables. Extended International Network We currently provide access to over 240 countries and territories around the world. With investments in most Asian and Trans-Pacific cable systems as well as direct access to satellite facilities, we offer international telecommunications services to carriers, resellers, multinational corporations and consumers in Malaysia and around the world. |
